I love these dumbells. I had a set of adjustable MX Fitness dumbells, and while I loved them, nothing compares to steel. The bearings/bushings on these are smooth as glass. The knurling is very comfortable. I like how they're a tad narrower than other dumbells, so you have more room when using both at the same time. Like everything I've bought from Barbell Standard, the quality is solid and well worth the price. Its rare to find a company that makes good stuff, stands behind their products and mistakes, and doesn't price gouge but prices fairly so the customer AND the company are considered.

I'm thoroughly delighted with my new loadable dumbbells and the plates that accompanied them - absolutely stellar value. Unfortunately the new plates are so nice that they make my old ones look rather shabby and may force me to consider painting them! Great set of dumbbells!

Excellent set of adjustable dumbbell's. They are just like mini barbells with an excellent amount of knurling to grab onto. A little rougher than the 1500 barbell. Definitely won’t lose your grip on these!
