Lovely Design but Some Construction Challenges

When I first saw this pattern and watched the sewing tutorial, I thought it would be a fairly simple and enjoyable project. The dress itself has a charming, classic design that initially drew me in. However, I found some parts of the construction more challenging than expected. The neck facing, in particular, was tricky to sew and may be frustrating for beginners. I also had difficulty getting the dress over my head once it was finished. The neckline opening was quite small! Since the V-neck point is a delicate area that can easily stretch or tear, a slightly larger opening might make the design more wearable. Overall, the dress isn’t overly complicated, but I did find the instructions a bit unclear at times, especially regarding seam finishing. I appreciate the style of this pattern, but it may be better suited for sewists with a bit more experience.

I printed the pattern out on my home printer. There were many pieces that didn’t match up by large amounts. Also, there weren’t any illustrations to explain the sewing process.
