Love the fine paper and covers and the obvious love and care taken in the making of it.

Nice, premium notebook

Lovely notebook with premium feel. The only reason for me that it's a 4-star and not a 5-star is the lack of a pocket at the back of the book. I generally always buy books with pockets and keep receipts and other work related items, eg business cards or notes. For the price I would expect this. Otherwise, very nice and I look forward to using it fully.

Not good with fountain pens

In all honesty, the notebook looks nice and the paper feels smooth. However, I bought it specifically for use with a fountain pen, as it is advertised as fountain-pen friendly. While it’s not the worst I’ve used, it does feather and shows slight bleed-through. The bleed-through isn’t severe, you can see the writing from the reverse side, but it’s something you can live with. The feathering, however, is noticeable and disappointing. I’m using a fine nib, but on this paper it writes more like a medium (almost broad). If you’re using a ballpoint pen, this notebook should be perfectly fine, it has a nice design and smooth paper. But if you’re planning to use a fountain pen, as I did, I’d recommend avoiding it.
