Bald Eagle

you can barely make out it’s an eagle. Can only make it out from up close. Otherwise it looks like the head is missing. I’m a little disappointed with the amount of money I paid for this eagle. I thought it would look bold and strong instead of headless…..

I ordered the eagle as a house warming gift for a friend of our sons. He bought a home on the lake with a massive pine tree growing by the water. The tree is home to an eagle couple, so our son refers to his friend’s home as “The Eagle’s Nest”. We couldn’t think of a more fitting gift. He loved it and we were so thrilled with the workmanship.
