Update Ultralight SoloVent Bivy Tent

Very nice and light 1 person tent

Very nice tent, it did fit my 25 inch wide air mattress, but don't expect to put your gear inside with you. The covered porch area is great for your gear though! When you get up in the morning, make sure to have something to kneel on as you get out, or you will soak up all the condensation off the bottom of the porch awning, with your back. All in all, a very nice tent, I will be getting several more for my family when winter comes back around, and it is too cold for our hammocks!

Fun little tent, but quality could improve

Fun little tent. It’s easy to set up and looks great, but I’m concerned about the overall quality. Two of the included pegs bent the very first time I used them. This hasn’t happened with pegs from other well-known brands. I didn’t step on them, I used two sticks to hammer them into the ground, so the peg quality could definitely be improved. The zipper is another weak point. It’s quite small, and I imagine it may fail over time. I would have preferred more robust zippers, such as YKK. Lastly, customer support told me that the tent is fire retardant free and PFAS-free. However, I’m not sure I believe it. OneWind is not very transparent about their material suppliers, labor practices, or chemical use, which is disappointing.

Looks a great tent, but I have to test it first before I can judge
