I highly recommend this straightening system and wouldn't use anything else. Although I now wear it quite short - my hair is a weird combination of fine but thick, with a strong curl. (I get 2 applications from 1 box). This Wella straightening system is not only very easy to use - but is gentle and kind to your hair and scalp - leaving hair looking healthier, glossy and of course. . . straight. And this is even though I omit the flat ironing stage - which is actually optional. I have found for optimum results; it is best to shampoo with a mild clarifying shampoo just before application - to provide a 'clean canvas'.
