This DAC is fabulous with the I2S input. The others are really good but with a DDC to I2S this is detailed, deep, wide, just fantastic. Had trouble using the ARC with a TLC TV but works great with the LG TV in the other room. About 30 days in, this DAC is a great value. Compares very favorably with my Chord DAVE in my other set up.

I compared it with Gustard R26 and A26, I would say for an ESS chip I am impressed, I actually don't really don't feel like it's a clinical ess implemetations as other ess dacs, it sounded livier than other ess dacs. Also the build in filter is something I actually can hear a difference compare to other brands, all in all, if you want a good ess dac and can spend the money, this is it.
