Really Good Customer Service
The Ranger bag is really nice. Really really nice. You can find plenty of good reviews on the bag and how good it is, and they’re correct. But what I was really impressed by was the customer service. I got my name on mine and I got a follow up email saying “hey, it’s Sunday golf, remember that if you get text on your bag, it’s going to take longer. Things are on schedule for your shipment.” Which was nice that they put that in place. But what was insanely impressive was they sent me an email saying “that my shipment hasn’t been updated by the carrier in a few days. But that’s a good sign because it means it’ll start moving again. But we’re keeping our eye on it and we’ll reach out if the shipment doesn’t move, and how we’ll be handling it.” I buy a lot of things and I’m in the customer service industry. NEVER have I ever seen that much care go into the delivery a product. That alone makes me want to buy from Sunday golf again. The bag is superb too though, so that really helps.

Nicely designed, well made, seems bigger than I imagined
It seems there is a trend towards really large golf bags these days. Probably driven by so many people who only take carts exclusively and carry way too much stuff. I was looking for a sleek, smaller bag that would still comfortably carry 14 clubs for primary use on a golf push cart. I did however want the convenience of a stand bag for range use, etc. as opposed to a cart bag which led me to the Ranger.
I have yet to use it on the course, but the features and construction seem top notch. As I could not see one in person it did turn out to be larger than I envisioned but still smaller than most modern cart bags. When I want to carry I drop a few clubs and go to a minimalist Ultralight carry bag. In the winter I only drive a cart as the courses I play do not allow walking so I have a large, carry everything bag.
