I use a lot of moisturizers around my mature eyes and so I tend to not wear eyeliner. All of the long-lasting, smudge proof eyeliners I have tried, end up smudging under my eyes in no time, even after setting my eye makeup with powder. The only product that does not end up running is Lady Gaga’s brand, Haus Labs. This is the only eyeliner I have been able to use that actually stays in place and I am in the south Florida heat and humidity.

The color delivers on its promise: a deep, truly matte black—without that annoying shiny or plastic sheen typical of other long-wear eyeliners. Formulated with charcoal pigment, it feels lightweight and comfortable on the eyelid, without any unpleasant tightness. How about longevity? This is where results may vary. On normal to dry eyelids, it withstands sweat and humidity without transferring to the upper lid. However, if you have oily eyelids or deep creases, setting the area with a touch of translucent powder beforehand is essential; otherwise, you might notice slight fading in the crease by the end of the day.
