The Squirrel Buster really is squirrel proof! Really! The squirrels (we have Fox and Eastern Gray) spent weeks trying to get seed out of the feeder but were foiled every time. The Squirrel Buster keeps seed fresh and dry in heavy rain and blowing snow. Birds use the perches, ring, and platform, so even ground feeders stop by. The large capacity is great, we don't spend all our time refilling. We allow squirrels access to the platform ('cause we like feeding them too). The squirrels now know they can't get seed out of the feeder itself and are content eating what the birds drop onto the platform. Squirrels and birds feast together and we sit back and enjoy.
