Got this tea as a sample in my first order and I really liked the deep flavor and feels from the tea. Also love supporting Yunnan Sourcing. Such an awesome company that has integrity and amazing products!!!

Great smooth ripe

Not much experience with puerh, but I enjoy this one very much. Light earthy sweetness to it. Has a very familiar and comforting taste. Great brewed in a thermos at boiling. Impossible to oversteep.

Great cake

I got a sample of this in the first steps sampler and immediately ordered the full cake. I brew 5-7 g of tea with 300 ml boiling water in my steeper mug with a 5s wash and starting at 20s steep. I go up 5 seconds each steep. The taste is pleasantly full and earthy, like a damp forest floor. By steep 5, it gets a wonderful sweetness.
