Makes a great first impression
I don't drink a lot of ripe puerh- prefer young shengs and oolongs, but bought this as a present for my mother, who pretty much only drinks shu. That said, this is an enjoyable tea. As others have noted, it has a creamy mouthfeel and is very dark. It's not sweet like some ripe puerhs I've had, but is rich and a little woody. When pushed it a little it didn't get bitter, but the woodiness was more noticeable. I bought the ripe 'Impressions' cake blind because I have enjoyed the raw 'Impressions' puerhs so much and it was a good gamble.
