Great company. Product could be improved upon

Atomic defense was very fast with shipping. Product was as advertised. I have zero complaints. Eagle industries could make some improvements though. It does work well. The catch is where the bottom part connects over the rear plate bag. I had to essentially weave it through the bottom outside row of MOLLE, cinch it down. And tie it in a knot to keep it connected and remove the slack. It needs to be cinched down to do it's job. And not wobble when donning and doffing the carrier. And I put my back panel over it. I haven't been able to connect it to the emergency drag handle area. At the top of the rear plate bag. Still open to ideas. It does it's job. It mitigates weight, and takes the pressure off your shoulders and back. I am happy with it. But just beware. If you run a smaller type carrier. (JPCs, etc) It won't be satisfactory for you. This is more for CPCs, and those type of carriers. Overall. I give Atomic Defense 5 stars. And I give Eagle industries 4 stars.

Well worth it

Make sure you read the instructions for how this is supposed to secure to the rear-plate bag. Take your time and play with different settings on the tension for the spring to find the optimal setting. It’s well-worth the cost, seems well-constructed. We’ll see how it holds up. Shipping took many moons - these seem to be sold out in most places, but once it shipped, it arrived quickly and without issue.
