This is a great red bulb with adequate light. I use this bulb in a standard base lamp at night in my bedroom, kitchen, and office. This bulb reduces blue light exposure at night while working on my computer. I like that the bulb doesn't flicker like other bulbs I used in the past. I ordered additional bulbs for other rooms in my house.

Un-natural and bright

Light is unexpectedly bright and feels disconcertingly un-natural. One frequency, even in a desired frequency, is just as distressing as spikes at the wrong frequency
