Anubias Barteri (Gracilis)

Canton Anubias Never Disappointed

Ordered this for my planted freshwater tank and it showed up well-packed with a stout, firm rhizome and good root structure — no mush or rot, which is the main thing you want with Anubias. Gracilis is one of the larger barteri varieties, so the arrow-shaped leaves give nice height and texture compared to the more common nana. I wedged it onto driftwood (rhizome left exposed, as you should — bury it and it'll rot) and it settled in fast. Slow grower like all Anubias, undemanding in low-to-moderate light, no CO2 needed. Exactly what I was hoping for from Canton Aquatics. Will order again.

Absolutely gorgeous

Beautiful plant with so much growth, including lots of new growth, tons of roots and it is just lovely right out the bag. I've had it in my tank for weeks now and while it has some root melt, not too much, the leaves have had no melt and still look gorgeous. :)
