Little rough
Hello, these are the 3 plants I bought at the end of March 2026, and I put them in my 40 gallon breeder tank on April 01, 2026: 1) Water Wisteria (Hygrophila difformis) ..... 2) Ludwigia Repens ..... 3) Ludwigia "Triple Red" ....... I wanted to wait a little bit before doing a review. it's been 2 months now and I have been using liquid fertilizer (from aquarium co-op) and root tabs for my amazon swords (that I bought elsewhere). so far, the Water Wisteria has been doing kind of ok. some of the leaves fell off the bottom of the stems so there's a good 4" of bare stems at the bottom. there are a few roots coming out of the nodes on the stems though. the tops of the plant look lush and green. I just wish it would push out more leaves. the Ludwigia Repens and Ludwigia "Triple Red" are not doing that well. the leaves keep falling off, same as the Wisteria, but they just keep falling off and floating around the tank. the stems are turning black on the one species. both have 4+ inches of bare stem on the bottom part of the plant. I'm not sure why they seem to Not be pushing out new growth? I'm using fertilizer and root tabs so I'm not sure why they still look rough. any tips?
