Quick and painless! Make sure you're shaved really close before using it for no pain or burnt hair smell. I'm on my first week, so of course i have yet to see any results. But if it does as it says, the process isn't very bad at all.

So this is weird I got the Bumzzy Zapper on March 21st and have only used it lightly usually once occasionally twice a week after showering. On April 12th around 4:40 a.m., I sat down on my bed to use it and suddenly heard a loud pop. I stopped immediately and checked it. The internal glass (the part with the metal spiral inside) was completely shattered. I don’t know if I happened to get a faulty unit or if there was some kind of internal malfunction, I clean it after I reuse, And I haven't had it very long...
