Love it!

Purchased for my son's 10th birthday as his first knife. He absolutely loves it! Great tools and great blade. Couldn't be happier to see his growing independence in using tools without asking for help, whether around the house or at the farm. Great coming-of-age purchase! Thanks, Leatherman! Box of Chocolates

I've noticed lately that my favorite cereal box has gotten a bit smaller. Not by much but something like 14. 75 oz instead of 16. It looks almost the same but it's just a little bit smaller and also more expensive. I'd say the wave alpha follows that same trend. There seems to be less material in every tool and in every dimension. Not much but enough to notice. I appreciate the configuration trading the serrated blade for the larger scissors and adding the awl. The spring on the scissors slips sideways a lot and needs to be constantly realligned. I think if the scissors blades were ust a but thicker this could have been prevented. I was able to tuck an extra bit under the scissors just barely. Not sure the blade steel is worth the money. I'd like to see that be an option along with scales that could hold an extra bit or two as well as tweezers and a toothpick. Overall it's fine but a bit disappointing. Does seem like a higher price for a bit less than it should be. I'll definitely carry it and get some use out of it but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. Could be better.

Best Multi-tool Ive bought yet!

I used to have an old Supertool that I didnt really care for, which held me off from buying a newer Leatherman. I tried a bunch of others and they just didnt really work for me because of all the different things I run into on a day to day basis. Saw ads for the Wave Alpha and decided to give it a shot. Easily the best multi-tool ive ever bought and look forward to using it everyday. I have used every bit of that tool for various tasks related to what I do for work and the bit driver is awesome with the bit kits. Saves me so many trips back to the van because I forgot my Torx or Hex key sets. Its a very comfortable tool once you break it in and Ive gotten compliments on it
