Love this book. I would give it 5+. After making the Magnolia, I wanted to begin with the basics and build. Have completed every bag in the book and feel confident in working with any Sallie Tomato pattern.

I have made all but the last project in the book. It is a great way to build the skills especially going in the order of the projects. I highly recommend.

This bag-making book is an absolute must-have for anyone interested in sewing or crafting their own bags. It’s incredibly comprehensive. It truly covers everything you could ever need to know about creating bags, from start to finish. As a bonus, I was lucky enough to get a signed copy at the Houston Quilt Festival, which makes it even more special. I’ll be referring to this book again and again!
