This is a great limiter. It’s not meant for your master channel, but for buses and groups. We used in this manner, it can really help you get a lot more loudness out of your mixes. It’s also lightweight on processing so you can use a bunch of instances without slowing your session down.

Easy to use limiter.

X-Limit is a straight forward plugin, with a nice SSL workflow and good visual feedback. It lets you choose from 4 different limiting algorithms and comes with a few presets to start from (I wish they would be more). It does its job pretty well.

Great sound

Almost no loss of sound quality It is very nice.
