Works better than i expected

It does add or take away punch or sustain in a pleasant way that doesn't sound too abrasive or leave artifacts, controls are exact and you shouldn't need to reference the manual.

With SPL Transient Designer and Softube Transient Shaper, I don't think you need any other transient plugins. SPL has a hard, fast attack character, while Softube has a softer, more enveloping analog character. These two have a high-quality, natural sound quality that is less likely to have an unnatural attack.
