I've been mixing on the old Duende system way back when, and I soon realized - man, I'm getting to a great sounding result so much more quick - there really is some magic about having limited options available to you! It feels good having more "advanced" stuff at your disposal as a problem solved these days, but for just getting a good sound mix in short amount of time .. these plugins used to be essential back then and are still today.
