Very versatile board
I bought the 21-inch model and was surprised by its stability. It is also fast and can withstand bad conditions in the water.

Best and most amazingly designed board I've ridden
I got a 21" Ninja recently and of the three other brands and seven boards I've ridden it is by far my favorite in all aspects including speed, performance, design, and stability. The thing that speaks loudest about the board is the design. I feel like every single inch is under meticulous review by a perfectionist who has deep knowledge of the board-making craft. Alain has produced a complete dream of a board: perfect blend of secondary and primary stability with that NSP canoe hull, a standing area that defines traditional concepts of a 21" being "narrow", and lightness in the materials that translates to faster pivot turns, starts, and in my experienced a drastically reduced workload to support those long-haul races. If I had to pick a favorite feature, hands down it would be the deck. Such an important part - it's the interface between the rider and their board. I love nesting my feet against the additional room of the carved out rails for extra stability, and the transition from the super delicately recessed foot area up the back of the board to the tail is as smooth as I have experienced. I usually take a few weeks to adjust to new boards and how they respond based on the way I paddled previous boards, but with this one I was so comfortable that it was seamless. It's so unlike anything I have ever ridden. If I had to pick a second, it would be the blend of primary and secondary stability. They're kinda two ends of a spectrum: too much primary can be too slow, too much secondary can be too unstable. I've ridden boards with extreme convex/canoe hulls and those without, and NSP has achieved perfection of the balance between the two and the result is greater speed without the sacrifice of stability. Only regret is not buying a Carolina at the same time!
