Made an Expensive Shoe Wearable and Comfortable

I bought some Altra trail shoes hoping they would work for ball of foot pain as they have a wide toe box. They did not have enough padding and I still had pain in the ball of my feet (Metatarsalgia) I purchased these Abeo Max Performance Orthotic 2 Metatarsal and replaced the inner foot pads on the Altra shoes. I can now wear the shoes comfortably.
