PRE-tasting it's great!!
We have a week to go in the aging process but so far it's been fun and flawless. Instructions are very clear and easy to implement. I wanted to make sure a steady temperature was maintained during fermentation and aging so I rigged up a simple solution that is working very well. The 1 gal jug is in a cardboard box along with a thermostat (plugged into an extension cord which is plugged into an outlet) and a heat source (100W bulb in a cage). Thermostat is set to 73 degrees so the temp never varies by more than 1 degree. Our Chardonnay is nice and clear and has a rich color to it. We'll bottle in a week and have a party in a couple of months. I'll try to report back. Oh, btw, the folks at CraftABrew have been very responsive answering my couple of questions very quickly.
