Weightless Sun Armor

My girlfriend and I love these. I ended up getting her one so she'd stop stealing mine. The ventilation is great, despite being long sleeved it feels no warmer than a t shirt or tank top. Majorly cuts down on the need for sunscreen while rucking. Despite the material feeling so light I haven't noticed any issues with it standing up to the rigors of rucking. Like most GORUCK clothing, this should be hung up to dry and kept out of the dryer. I dries out so fast it's just wasting your electric bill in the dryer anyways.

This is my second sun hoodie. I think this one is even better than the previous one, with same lightness while feeling more solid and not wrinkling as easily. It still packs down to nothing (you could probably stuff it inside a shoe if you really wanted to). It does what it says when protecting from the sun, though I still recommend pairing with a hat or face sunscreen, as the hood doesn't come very far forward. I took an ATV ride through the jungle while wearing the hoodie, and it protected my skin from the brunt of the burs and thorns. I picked a ton of stickers out of the sleeves afterward, and there was no lasting damage to the garment.

Truly durable and comfortable

I’ve had many technical shirts for hot weather. Hands down this is the best. I ended up getting all the colors and some for friends. It’s withstood Velcro snags and laying on sandpaper while trying to work in tight spaces. No snags or runs. Easy to quick hand wash and dry in an hour. As with everything GORUCK, only top tier quality, exceeds advertising.
