Low Angle and Bevel Up Plane Replacement Blades - CPM MagnaCut

Very high quality blade in every respect. Takes an extremely keen edge on lapping films and a little stropping. Better than PM-V11? Can't say for sure yet, but can say the edge lasts at least as long. Using these in a Veritas shooting plane and in a custom jack plane.

It took forever to get it, but the iron was worth the wait. Difficult to sharpen, but it seems to hold the edge really well. I'm using it in shooting plane and it holds up well with white oak, plywood and even MDF. I'm a believer in this steel. Also worth mentioning that the iron was pretty much perfect from the box. Dead flat back and razor sharp. Thank you, this is a lifetime investment, really great product!
