Well produced plane

Purchased plane as I lost one ( later found a week after placing order) for a no. 5 plane. Very impressed with the quality and production of this plane. It is almost twice the thickness of the misplaced plane, hence it provides a sturdier platform to use and holds it's sharpness for longer. Quality is second to none. It changed the degree of the level from 25° to 35° to use on hard woods. I was surprised with the quality of the cut compared to the misplaced plane. When you pay for quality with Rob, you certainly get what you have paid for.

New blade and chip breaker for my Bailey #5

I got my new blades and sharpened them. I must say it was much easier putting a good edge on the new blade than the old originals. My plane is now cutting great. I actually feel what Rob said is so relaxing to use. This was an excellent purchase.
