Organic Japanese Tea
I was looking for organic hojicha and came across Paru. I’m so glad I did! I generally like hojicha for its roasty toasty comforting profile. I’m impressed by the quality and flavor of Paru’s tea. I currently am only drinking low caffeine teas and this hojicha is wonderful since I miss drinking black(red) tea. Hojicha gives me that same cozy experience, but with a flavor unique and wonderful of its own. When I drink this tea at work I can re-steep many times and still enjoy it. Very happy with my purchase.

Hojicha
I generally enjoy green and black teas, so this roasted green variant fused the best of the vegetal flavor of green with the robust earthiness of a black tea. I would recommend to any who are interested in a flavor between these poles. I appreciate the Paru team for pointing out this flavor as a challenge to what I am typically used to.
