Super Alphonso Mango Tree Grafted

I order from Everglades Farms pretty often and normally receive very healthy plants, so this one was a little disappointing. My Super Alphonso arrived alive and overall seems viable the older green growth looks healthy and the graft/tree itself looks fine. However, the newest flush arrived very pale and covered in numerous black spots and several larger brown/black lesions that look consistent with a fungal leaf-spot issue, possibly anthracnose. There is also some leaf-tip and edge damage. I’m hopeful the tree will recover and push clean new growth once established, but for a newly delivered mango tree I wasn’t expecting this much spotting/damage on the newest growth. I wanted to document the condition it arrived in because this hasn’t been typical of most of my previous orders.

I was really disappointed with the Tree I received from Everglades Farm. I’ve been a customer of theirs for many years and I have usually received trees in good condition for the most part except for accidental stuff due to the mail service. This time, however they sent me a tree full of anthracnose. Even the main stem had anthracnose. I was really disappointed that they would deliver this kind of tree in this kind of shape to someone . I proved back the tree, but now every time there’s new growth, the tree growth gets covered in anthracnose. Overall, very disappointed with this Tree and very disappointed with this company for thinking that shipping sick trees over the mail is appropriate.
