Surprised!
My two cents: First off, I don't think that shampoos should be so harsh that we have to use a conditioner to get a brush through our hair... There are many claims about shampoo bars, that they won't dry hair out, which are usually false- they are so sudsy, might as well use dish soap... I was waiting for that "straw-like" texture when I was rinsing out the shampoo, but it wasn't there. So I AM pleasantly surprised. I guess "time will tell" if I will be able to keep using it, but I will for now. I am almost 60 and my hair is fragile. I liked the conditioner very much as well even though it is "correcting" the overly cleansing properties of the shampoo. Still love what etee does and am happy to try what they are putting out there.

Best bar of Shampoo I’ve tried
I’ve tried a few different bars of shampoo and none have lathered. I gave up for a while but as kept throwing out the big plastic bottles, this one crossed my feed. In a moment of weakness I made an order… I love it, it actually lathers in my hair and feels clean afterwards. It’s very easy to tell when the shampoo is rinsed out. My only observation is it does break down faster if water is splashed on it from the shower. I just store it in a container that ventilates. The conditioner is good, you don’t need to use much. I have long hair to my shoulder blades and a quarter amount will do the job. The directions say it doesn’t need rinsing but I haven’t tried it that way yet.

Love it!
The coconut conditioner is the best. I absolutely love it. The shampoo bar is also one of the best bar shampoos I have tried. I am hooked
