Vacuum Genie

My first food that I sealed was half an avocado!!!! Very impressed. 3 days and it was still all vacuumed and a beautiful green.

Love the ease of sealing meat without the clumsiness of a big machine, and the reusable bags are a bonus!

Received quickly and everything was as expected. Due to arthritis in my hands I am struggling with ensuring that the zipper top is closed completely. I am using the small helper gadget but it still takes me two tries most times. Maybe something a little larger would be easier to pinch and hold. As an older couple we use smaller portions so the large size bags probably won’t get much use. Being able to select the exact size, instead of a mixed bundle would be nice. Also, the fold on the big bags (from shipping ) makes them even harder to seal. Those take much more effort. Two of them just wouldn’t seal for me. Overall, I am hoping to buy in bulk and portion out meals for two and make the fresh foods last longer. Maybe the mason genie would have been a better choice for us but I can’t freeze the jars. Time will tell.
