A sweet, learher, mature scent profile. Not bad but not something i will reach for normally or buy a full bottle of. Not blind buy safe, sample first. 6-7/10 (personal subjective opinion)

Incredible Scent
I tested this with samples for several months before pulling the trigger on a full bottle. I can’t say anything other than it’s exactly what I wanted. Starts out like an old school Chypre and dries down to an Ambery oriental. Definitely more wearable than a vintage Chypre. Kinda the best of both classic and modern. This started a journey for me trying all kinds of vintage Chypres hoping to find something that gave me the same feeling, and after everything I tried, the journey ends where it started. It is my favorite of them all in the end. If you like something that feels vintage and classic, but not dated, this is a wonderful and super wearable fragrance. The bottle is beautiful as well. This stuff is class!

Way too old-fashioned and confusing
Chypre Palatin smells like a weird mix of stale citrus, old leather, and dusty antiques that never quite blend. It’s confusing and harsh, like someone spilled a whole spice rack in a forgotten attic. The drydown just drags on forever unpleasant and tiring.
If you like fresh, clean, or even wearable scents, steer clear. This one feels stuck in a bad time and isn’t worth the headache.
