I'm a niche perfume newbie and got 11 samples from Luckyscent, this is the first one I tried. This is purely because of my own personal preferences, but I'm not a fan at all! I think it's the labdanum specifically that I don't like, or that in combination with the tonka bean. I got a very caramel-y, beeswax, Vicks vapo rub scent that was warm and a night scent in my opinion. The Vicks smell faded after 15-30min but the caramel, vanilla, baking resin/amber, beeswax notes stayed. I'm happy that I'm learning what I like and dislike in this big new fragrance universe! This was a no for me.

I originally received this scent in a sample pack last Fall - at first, I didn't like it. I worked my way through probably 15 or so samples until this one came out on top (and was the one the only ones my Husband didn't complain about). Despite lacking vanilla notes, it has that cozy, creaminess of a vanilla hug scent. For me it lasts all day on clothing and most of the day on the skin. It's a touch heavy for me right now in the hot summers, and will be a perfect Fall and Winter fragrance.

Great discovery! The only other fragrance I tried from this fragrance house was Etheral Wave, which I didn't consider worth a full bottle purchase. Celestial Object, on the other hand, I love :) It is very much a skin scent, but the dry down with tonka bean, incense and almond give such warmth and comfort.
