Bad performance
This fragrance is not for me, I am glad I tried it before buying a full bottle because this fragrance is too weak. Love Xerjoff perfumes but this one is not for me. Too weak and it doesn't last long.

String performer but not my taste
I don’t get pine or eucalyptus notes; rather an exotic honey layered over flowers. Unfortunately found it cloying and the sharp musk at the dry down typical of Xerjoff isn’t for me. Sillage and longevity excellent

Summer Decadence
As a decidedly gourmand gal, I ordinarily don't gravitate toward airy, summery scents and feel at odds with pairing scents in warmer weather. I also will preface and admit freely that I am a Xerjoff fangirl, with Lira, K'Bridge Club, and Ivory Route all being top compliment-getters not just from my Xerjoff suite, but my entire fragrance collection. I think both of these bits of information are important because I am at once biased for *and* against the notes and intention of Accento Overdose on paper, and should be an excellent arbiter of whether or not it's actually good. The verdict is in and it's: superb. Effectively summery by shifting away from a conventional coconut-summer approach and into a fruit (pineapple-forward) medley, grounded by green notes and topped with a touch of enchanting, feminizing jasmine. I also have really come to appreciate craftsmanship and the difference between a cheaper, pleasant-smelling yet static concoction and a richer fragrance that truly evolves over the course of wear - the pine always sneaks up on me yet is when I think this scent really comes alive and makes its mark as something one-of-a-kind. Don't be fooled: Accento Overdose detonates upon first spritz, boasting wildly impressive sillage and projection (and this is from a reviewer who thinks everything disappears after 3-4 hours). I am not afraid of splurging but the $300 price tag is simply not feasible for me at the moment, so I indulged on the $50 9mL travel spray instead and actually couldn't be more pleased. I had tried a sample spray before (that's when I fell in love) but with how little you need for this to perform, the 9mL will last me several nice occasions (an upscale outdoor event is perfect) this coming spring/summer season. If you're not sure, it's certainly a fragrance that has enough personality to make it worth a bite (it will certainly make you feel SOMEthing). Get a 2mL at the very least, because when this rockstar scent finds a matching wearer, it truly is fireworks.
