Surprisingly Warm for Small Size

I'll be honest, I wasn't looking for a beanie style hat like this one because I feel like they don't keep my ears warm. However, I bought it as a "consolation prize" to replace a hat I'd lost, then shoved it in my day hiking pack as a "why not" sort of thing. Well, the weather ended up being about 15 degrees colder than forecast that day and this hat performed like a champ! Temps were in the upper teens to low 20s, and the hat was comfortable to wear while hiking - not too hot, not too cold. And it packs really small! So even if I wanted to take it off, I could easily shove it in my pants pocket until I needed it back on. It's not thick enough to keep your ears warm if you're in windy conditions or much colder temps. But for these conditions, and for being so small to pack, it's fantastic!

Great hiking beanie

Bought this for myself, but my spouse ended up commandeering it (fits him better anyway!). He loved it for hiking, not too warm but enough to keep his ears warm in crazy winds. The tag is a little annoying, sticks out weirdly at times. I might try removing at some point. Loved the blue color!
