Just like every purchase I have made from American Duchess, they fit right out of the box, and required no “breaking in”. Newsflash: if you require a breaking in period for your shoes, you probably have the wrong size. These are stylish, gorgeous cordovan color, and comfortable. These will be a treasured part of my wardrobe.

Dream boots

I wanted to write this review in case it can help anyone else! I don’t usually write reviews, but these boots are special. Upon reading many other reviews, I went with a wide size for the first time ever in my life. I don’t like the feeling of my toes being squished, and they fit perfectly. I usually wear 8.5/9 in boots and I purchased the 9 just to have extra room. I would go with 8.5 next time. But, there’s plenty of room and even so that I can wear orthotics and/or wool socks if needed. I bought the cordivan color, and originally wanted black but it was sold out in my size. I’m grateful now because they’re the most rich shade of brown and will match black clothing as well. They’re my dream witchy, vintage boots and I’m beyond grateful I finally found them. I am hooked on American Duchess boots forever.
