Table Ace Winter Squash

Too Slow

I can't believe how slow these are to grow. I've grown squash in the past and always do something different. This year I decided to till only the area to plant. These seeds were sown directly into the ground after the soil temp. reached a min. of 60˚ and here it is, 7-8 weeks later and they are so immature they will probably never bear fruit. We've had a warm, wet summer and these plants should be flourishing by now. The pumpkins are doing better in another part of the yard, but this is the sunnier part of the yard and all the squash I planted are super immature. Very disappointing. Needless to say I will be using seed from another supplier next year.
