We enjoyed these. I direct sowed and started seeds. (zone 8b) The seeds that I started seemed to do better. We harvested some of these almost right after they formed balls and the lettuce was tender, crisp and sweet. We will definitely be growing this one again.

Best lettuce crop I've grown

I have struggled growing lettuce till this year. I decided to buy seeds this year and try again. I got huge heads of lettuce. The tase was wonderful. You don't realize how much better things taste when they come out of your garden. I think adding worm castings this year could be key to my bumper crop this year. I highly recommend this lettuce!

Loving this lettuce

First year growing this lettuce in my raised bed and I’m loving it. I don’t wait for a full head, I just clip as needed. I’m anxious to see how it does in eastern Oregon’s heat.
