Great, All The Way Around!

I'm so impressed I have to break this up into thirds. Packaging: Just opening a Cosman box speaks "Quality", before you even see the item. Who else besides me wants to keep the boxes? (Man, I'm sure I'll need this box someday). It means a lot when a company puts in the extra effort to protect your product while it ships. Shipping: Expensive, but that's cross-border shipping for you. I ordered mine (along with the new vise) on the 6th and it arrived on the 9th. Impressive. Product: A fantastic addition to my 5-1/2! You don't normally spend a lot of time at a shooting board, but it doesn't take long to make your hands shy from using it when you're just using the plane. The Grip changes everything. Great design (Jake?) and one of my best Cosman purchases. Thanks Rob and Crew!

Works as advertised

This thing really makes a big difference when shooting end grain. It's always been hard for me to comfortably push a plane while not knocking the blade out of square. This solves that problem really well. It was hard for me to drill a hole in my precious plane but it was definitely worth it. Also, everyone needs to watch the videos on how to install it - they are well done and leave nothing out.
