I'm not sure why we've all been led to belive that "good" running shorts are worth $100+ these days. I call BS. I've run in a LOT of different shorts including Patagonia, Janji, Rabbit, Salomon, La Sportiva, and others. I can tell you that the Men's Sendero is just as good, if not better, than anything else I've owned. Immeditaly out of the packaging, the materials are quality, the construction is solid, and the aesthetic is great - I especially love the color. Pocketing is ample for food, although you'll probably want to run with soft flasks that are smaller than 500ml to fit in either of the two larger storage spaces. The drawcord garage is a smart design, and was comfortable in use. When I recieved these, I immediately put them to use on an 18-mile long run with 6k vert, fully loaded up with snacks and gear, and they did not dissapoint. I had no chafing or discomfort issues. I am thoroughly impressed. Honestly, these would be a deal at $50. Don't even hesitate, order a pair and see for yourself.

100-Mile Validated

I usually wear half tights for ultras due to chafing issues, but took a chance and wore these shorts due to the expected heat at the Old Dominion 100. The shorts were soaking wet due to water from ice bandanas. No chafing, no fuss, very cool. I will purchase additional pairs.

Great for tall female

I’m a 5’10” female. I prefer a longer inseam and 3” just doesn’t work for me (women’s version of this short is 3”). The men’s 5” inseam version worked great for me. I am a medium in women’s bottoms and found the medium in men’s to fit great. I have a rectangular body shape, narrow hips, muscular legs. These were high waisted on me which is exactly what I want. I just wore them on a humid long trail run and they did not ride up or cause any issues. These are a perfect short! Very comfortable. I didn’t load up the waist pockets so I can’t speak to whether there is bounce but I love all the carry options. I will be buying more.
