Love them!

They are lovely! They are a little snug, but they will stretch once I break them in. Can't wait to wear them for our upcoming Regency Ball!

Dainty, pretty little slippers

First...I have no Regency attire. I want to get an ethereal gown now, after purchasing these pretty slippers, but that's far down on my list of projects. Luckily, they are great for modern wear too! I took off the ribbon ties and wore them with jeans. I wouldn't wear them for a lot of walking or standing - not much padding or support - but they are very comfortable otherwise and were a stunning accessory for an event. (Note: I find that American Duchess shoes consistently run small. I usually wear a 6 to 6 1/2, but my AD size is 7.)

Don't work for high arches

This is the first time this happened to me with AD shoes, but these don't work with high arches at all-the length and the size of the toe box seems right, it's just the low opening to the shoe. I was looking forward to these, and they are well-made and really pretty, just not for me.
