Best hand saw combo in the market

To be upfront honest, I wasn't going to pursure these saws as part of my everyday requires hand tools. I have many inherited saws that cut well and can be tuned up for the same functions. Then!... I got to use both the rip and crosscut panel saws at one of Rob's classes last month. I bought the the same day! The grip is impeccable, same 3 finger grip as the dovetail saw(s). Trying the control you have with the fine kerf is very apparent on the first use. I had to remove a 1/4" strip for my first rip cut down the edge of a board 24" long. First try with no wavering from the cut line, the offcut piece was consistent width and didn't have any correction marks where I got off my line. I cut the line! The saws handle beautifully. You won't regret either of them... So why not buy both!
