An extremely good hand saw

This saw cuts very well in both 3/4 inch softwood up to 8/4 white oak. The handle is unusual and I wasn't fully confident but it is very comfortable for my average-man sized hands. I have quite a few hand saws, both Western pattern and Japanese pattern. I have had many of them for decades, and I take good care of them. This saw is as good as the best of them, and I like its slightly shorter length. I even have hand saws that are unavailable nowadays, from the brief era when Japanese tooth patterns appeared and high quality classic Western pattern (push) saws were made with Japanese tooth pattern, now available only as low-middle priced "sharptooth saw" with hardened teeth that you can't sharpen. The Cosman saw is up with the best of them.

Crosscut panel saw

Just received my crosscut panel saw and All I can say is WOW. The fit and finish are exemplary and boy is it sharp as. Easy to start, cuts accurate and the finish it leaves is smooth enough to be used as a glue joint to me. Some wake up call after only having used old saws that I managed to find and refurbish, really shows what sharp and accurate are.
