Fit oven! Uniform Crispy Crust! let it cool. . . edges and side cut-outs make for easy placement and removal. Brushed off toasted remnant of semolina flour. i. e. , very easy cleanup. Storage bag is an awesome add, slid into pantry storage slot on the floor next to sheet pan storage cart without worry about scratching anything! OK. . . it is heavier than a pizza pan. . . but duh. . . it's not a pizza pan, it's a Pizza steel. Highly recommend this . If I had two ovens, I'd buy a second one.

This Steelmade XL pizza steel is absolutely amazing. Great quality steel that is virtually maintenance free and incredibly easy to use. Besides baking delicious pizza and bread it helps temperature control during regular oven cooking.

This steel enables me to make incredible pizzas in my home oven. Absolutely love it! I’ve recommended it to numerous friends. I bought the large size first and then decided I wanted the XL so I gave the L to my daughter.
