This 5 pound weight completed the 3 weight choices (15 lb, 10 lb weights came with The Tanker) for optimal pressure canning. Being all type of canner myself (steam, water bath & pressure), the intended person asked for a weighted pressure canner for Christmas & he loved everything I chose through the Denali website
