Game changer. I make sourdough, freshly milled, and sometimes just good ol’ yeast bread. But I make 3-4 loaves at a time to keep up with our family of 5 (and school lunches) and it goes bad too quickly in a bread box or on the counter. So I started freezing it. But I’m trying to get away from plastic. When I found these, they were a game changer. I just wash them by hand (we don’t have a dishwasher anymore) and air dry and fill again to freeze our bread slices. Please consider making an XL size, similar to the 2.5 gallon bags. I’d buy those, too.

So happy with this purchase!!! These bags keep sourdough much more fresh than regular ziplocs! I love that they’re freezer safe too and will last! They fit sourdough boules and bread pan loaves beautifully!

Beeswax bread bags

I mill organic grains and make many bread products that I freeze and pull out of the freezer as needed. These bags are perfect for my rolls and muffins. I love the fact that they are nontoxic and can be washed and re-used. However, they are not large enough for my bread. I am anticipating that larger bags will be offered soon.
