Good Travel Derby

I purchased this shoe for travel requiring business attire. The shoe is fairly comfortable and was true to size for me. In terms of improvement, I wish this shoe had a thicker sole or an additional leather mid-sole and a support shank. I can feel the transition of the heel when I walk a lot in the shoes. I don't care for the angled heel block as it makes a sensation of your shoes sliding forward. However, I really like the ability to slide these in my carry on bag to take a dressier pair of shoes for travel as they take up very little space.

Great dressy shoes for travel

I've taken these shoes on two international trips now. They look great, pack very flat, don't take up much space in a suitcase. I did my best to size them but they're still tight across the instep, a problem I have with most shoes. These are the softest shoes I've ever owned. Excellent purchase.

Overall a good travel shoe

Leather is certainly the star of the show. Completely foldable, doesn’t appear to crease badly. Very soft and packable. The major drawback is the Blake stitch sole, which makes wearing them in any amount of moisture a recipe for getting wet socks. The sole itself is also incredibly thin, which would probably prohibit you from doing this anyway. A closed channel stitch would probably be better, however, at this price point it is probably asking too much. Overall, a nice looking dress shoe with fantastic leather. Not the most comfortable shoot to walk long distances in, however, not the worst either. I like them and I would buy them again.
