Not to my liking
It seems I first brought it and it was too strong and better. I have now brewed at 3 and 4 minutes and I find it having very little taste. I may have thought I was buying matcha. I'm also curious as to what the white beads are that look like Styrofoam.

The addition of the beautifully toasted rice makes this tea memorable
I have a special deeply personal connection to this tea as it was over a pot of this tea in the Tea House at Grace Farms that my special someone and I decided to take our relationship to the next level but I know that’s not why you will love it. Genmaicha combines two of my favorite things as a Korean, green tea and toasted rice. If you have ever eaten at an authentic Korean restaurant, you are served rice in a small clay pot that when you finish it, there are remnants stuck to the bottom. A server will come with a kettle of hot water for you to scrape those perfectly charred remnants and then drink it from the pot like a tea/soup. It is one of my favorite parts of the meal, I love that taste and when I sip this tea, I am transported to my favorite restaurant in KTown (NYC). I will continue to purchase this tea again and again. paired with the teapot and cups, this makes a perfect hostess gift!
