Globes are not out of date. Nice 3D sphere where you can learn stuff about places you didn't know about, comparative distances, etc.

Beautiful and Affordable

A beautiful item that puts locations into perspective like nothing else. But,...

as nice as the 16" World Classic series globe is, it does not seem to have all that much of a higher resolution than my 42 year old 12" World Nation series globe. Nevertheless, all else with the new 16" globe is an improvement. NOTE that my old Replogle 12" looks as fine as it did when I got it in 1982 - gives me confidence that the new 16" Replogle will be a fine addition to my home forever.
